I am not a medical doctor. This is not medical advise, but I’m an American, and I don’t live my life on defense waiting on the government to solve my medical problems or to grant my freedoms. I am also not going to sit around and wait on the government to come up with a vaccine for something that my well engineered immune system saw coming a long time before the China virus hit.
As an American, I attack problems and use the freedoms I have grown up with to solve problems in my life. I have traveled the world, been in some of the most dangerous disease-ridden places on earth and have never once gotten sick in any of these travels. The one time in my life I was deathly ill was after I received the Swine Flu vaccine back in 1977; boy what a mistake.
Now, to the problem at hand; its just a matter of tuning your immune system to ward off the virus when you come into contact with it. Zip through the essay, take at look at the recommendations and consider putting them into your daily vitamin regimen. This is a quick compilation of my through processes and brief research to beat the virus. President Trump just received a letter last week with the recommendations contained in this intro essay.
When we all began hearing about Coronavirus and COVID 19 its associated disease, we were all listening to “health experts” and told there was no one on earth would be immune to the infection. We played out part in our understanding of “flattening the curve” to avoid overloading our hospitals. All announcements indicated that each locale only had a certain number of hospital beds, and a certain number of ICU beds. Furthermore, I understood that a percentage of COVID-19 patients would develop pneumonia and would need a ventilator. I literally started to build one in case we were facing the shortage they predicted it looked that bad.
From scouring media sources, I turned to various news outlets and social media to get up to speed with something I knew nothing about. I even watched Governor Cuomo give projections and he did an excellent job of explaining the predicted need for ventilators in New York City. Logic dictated that where I lived would be similar to New York. I am casting no doubt on their intentions and actually enjoyed hearing Governor Cuomo give his precautionary measures early on . Additionally our U.S. medical teams were following the quickly established COVID treatment protocols in China and Italy. In Italy they had much loss of life due to the shortage of ventilators and ICU beds and it appeared we might face a similar threat without pretty drastic preventative measures.
Meanwhile, during late March and early April, statistics in New York started coming in that the mortality rate in New York hospitals with patients on ventilators was as high as 80% while the overall mortality rate in the U.S. was far below predictions. When I heard that for the first time, I was literally shocked. Surely, something needed to be done “before” I or a loved one went into ICU and ended up on a ventilator. The likelihood of death between 60 and 80% once put on a ventilator was simply not acceptable. These were shocking statistics and something seemed to feel wrong with this picture. Does your gut tell you something just isn’t right about how we are attacking the pandemic?
So, in the United States, we have all been virtually ordered to stay at home away from others so the first wave of infected individuals can pass through and run our hospitals just under maximum capacity. Wow, what a way to live! Wait for the first group to get sick or die, then wait until the hospitals can take another surge and open back up again for a rinse and repeat. I was not looking forward to waiting things out nor was I keen on the waiting months or years for a vaccine that might perform like the Swine Flu vaccine. I am not an anti-vaccer per se, but I have been sick to death only one time and it was after I took the Swine Flu vaccine. I am one of those that got the Swine flu from the vaccine and it was not pleasant for this writer.
Something is wrong with this entire picture. I cannot believe that our national strategy would be to try to just hide in our homes and then when we finally go out in public we are “doomed” to pick up the virus.
First, our country overall has not interacted with the virus the way we were told, and secondly, the number of infections was only a very small percentage of what was predicted.
We were told the elderly were at risk, but not told that virtually everyone that goes into the ICU with breathing problems had an underlying medical condition or an very weak immune system. In reality, most Americans are not being severely affected by the virus, only those with weak immune systems.
Next, I started hearing re-posts from front line doctors in New York that the patients were NOT developing pneumonia like we were told originally from China. The doctors began reporting the patients were in fact developing an oxygen starving condition in their blood very similar to very high altitude sickness.
Tragically our doctors were following a “protocol” approach to the disease with a wrong set of assumptions with the best of intentions and essentially the worst of results.
Following a “protocol” for attempting to treat a disease we knew nothing about seemed to be a strange way to treat the virus. Numerous experts have suggested using a “systems” approach to treat the infection and treat how to get the body’s systems working properly to fight the virus.
It turns out, that the enemy wasn’t pneumonia, the enemy wasn’t even particularly the Coronavirus SARS 2 infection as strange as that may sound. Don’t get me wrong, the virus is an enemy, but it only seemed to really affect about half our population. The hidden enemy was our weakened immune systems were turning on ourselves and causing the disease to spread in our bodies.
As we are getting more data, we are learning how to deal with the virus.
As early as the third week of March I started hearing of some very promising result as from large IV doses of Vitamin C having very good success in Europe and even some from China. As it turned out, many U.S. doctors in desperate attempts to save lives started using large doses of Vitamin C for severe cases in the intensive care units. Little did we know, the ventilators were actually increasing mortality, and it was those patients who received larger doses of vitamin A and C that were pulling through. Out of desperation, many doctor“drug” perspective many doctors have started using hydroxychloroquine which has a similar end result to large doses of A, C, D, and zinc.
There is another approach to this entire crisis and it not getting much traction in the United States.
It has to do with natural preventive and treatment measures. It just so happens that vitamins in the immune system seem to have a similar prophylactic affect as hydroxychloroquine.
There is an alternative to just waiting to get the disease and having to go into the ICU unit after all.
The long term solution is for us to get our immune systems back in proper condition to fight the virus.
Allow me a brief description of how the virus chooses its victims. It attacks the cell wall in your respiratory system by fooling your cell into unlocking an ACE2 receptor to allow the protein in the virus to “Bind” to the cell wall. It does this by encountering a weak cell structure in your respiratory system that did not have all its defenses running in good order. If you had the proper levels of A, C, D, and zinc, your body would pull together the proper immune reposes to defeat the virus. It is not the virus per se that will kill you, it is your weakened immune system’s improper response that actually allows it to turn on itself trying to fight the virus and your body gets itself into a viscous “cytokine storm”.
I have been influenced by a number of immunologist and experts in this field that suggest a "systems" response. One, is Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai who is a world renounced expert in this field and he has recommended preventative measures to be adopted nationally. He is spreading the word to other health professionals that the solution to the problem is to get our immune systems working properly and if they are working properly we will fight the virus off without having to be hospitalized.
He wrote this protocol suggestion to President Trump in early April. Below is an excerpt of his recommended vitamin doses for healthy adults to prepare their immune system for the virus.
Healthy Adult: 10,000 IU of Vitamin A per day
5,0000 IU of Vitamin D per day
1,000 MG of Vitamin C per day
6 drops of of Iodine/Iodide per drink once a day
Immuno-compromised Adults: 400,000 IU of Vitamin A Palmitate per day for 2 days
50,000 IU of Vitamin D per day for 2 days
1,000 MG of Vitamin C per day on -going
6 drops per drink of iodine/iodide once a day
Covid 19 Positive Adults; use same regime above as Immuno-compromised
Covid 19 Positive and hospitalized in ICU, 400,000 IU of Vitamin A Palmitate for 2 days
50,000 IU of Vitamin D for 2 days
Deliver Intravenous Vitamin C - 100g drip per day
until back to normal
This protocol is very inexpensive, has no side effects and offers those that start taking these vitamin recommendations a very high chance they will not be affected by the virus enough to have to be hospitalized. Immune Health Ptotects Against Covid 19
